Anatolii Misiuk is a contemporary Ukrainian landscape painter working in Lviv. He paints wide, luminous skies, cloudscapes and quiet cityscapes in oil and acrylic on canvas, and is also a doctoral researcher at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts, where he studies abstraction in Ukrainian postmodern painting.
Anatolii Misiuk is a Ukrainian landscape painter of the youngest generation, working today in Lviv. According to his own published biography he was born in Yenakiieve in the Donetsk region and trained first at the Kharkiv Art College and then at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts. He works chiefly in oil and acrylic on canvas, and his subject is almost always the sky: banks of cloud lit from behind, dusk falling over open fields and villages, the last light on a horizon. A second, urban strand of his work records Lviv and Kyiv rooftops and streets. Since 2024 he has released new canvases steadily through his own Instagram studio account, each posted with a bilingual title, year, medium and dimensions, and many sell directly from those posts to collectors in Ukraine and abroad, including Germany. He is at the same time a doctoral researcher at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts: his 2025 article 'The Evolution of Abstract Images in Ukrainian Postmodern Painting' analyses the New Wave generation — Zhyvotkov, Babak, Heiko, Dubovyk, Kryvenko, Tistol and Skuharieva. His practice sits between that scholarly interest in abstraction and a directly felt, atmospheric landscape painting. No museum or union documentation of his career has yet appeared.
