Sunrise
A large pastel of a winter village at daybreak. The artist recorded that the work came from a holiday spent in the countryside: "Arriving in winter for the holidays and rising in the morning, I saw a wonderful sunrise."

Haiane Ataian
Ataian's diploma painting from the Kyiv State Art Institute, set at the ancient Greek site of Olbia on the Black Sea coast. The museum also holds some twenty preparatory studies and drawings for it, making it one of her most thoroughly documented works.
